derby days

3 weeks at Royal Crown Derby.

I have just spent some time at Royal Crown Derby Factory to learn about traditional methods of hand painting and pattern printing. The visit was really informative and it was interesting to see one of the only bone china factories still producing everything in England.
I did lots of tests of inglaze, onglaze and ways of layering pattern over solid colour.
